Why an Anvil?

Welcome to my very first blog,  today I will let you guys in to the reason why i picked the title "the Anvil" for this blog.

First of all, its Manly. Think about it, I say anvil, you think burly black smith with handle bar mustache forging a steel axe for another burly man with a dwarven braided beard ready to chop down a tree. that or you think of Wild E. Coyote set to drop one on the road runner. It all comes down to maturity I guess.

Second of all, it speaks of the purpose of this Blog and that is to forge real men, give them community and share in each others victories.

The word of God says this:

 Proverbs 27:17

New Living Translation (NLT)

17 As iron sharpens iron,

    so a friend sharpens a friend.

I believe that Men have it all wrong, we are way to independent and this has made us arrogant,  prideful and the butt of every joke in beer commercials, it is honestly embarrassing and its about time it changes.

  We need each other. We need each other to learn, to be encouraged, to be corrected and to be happy.

 And in order to do that we need a community, a place to be forged, a place for the sparks to fly and the steel to be hardened, a place for the Great Black Smith to do his thing and create instruments of warfare that Samurai jack would be Jealous of. 

And that is why I made this blog, welcome to the Anvil,

allow me to introduce you to the Black Smith, Yahweh.
